“I am a mystical being now, this is too much!“
Tried to stifle a laugh, however it was in vain.
“Wait… You weren’t a mystical being before?" He cocked an eyebrow in mock-confusion. "You definitely could’ve fooled me.”
"No. No we didn’t. We did NOT have homework for Physics. No. You’re kidding. Please tell me you’re kidding.”
“It’s really not that big of a deal," he muttered, sympathetic. "You can just copy mine really quick, if you want?”
“You’ve always got something going on, huh, Scar?" He stifled a chuckle before laughing out loud.
Her lips formed into a small smile, and she nodded again, “okay.”
“I promise I’m a pretty good driver. I’ve only received a ticket for texting while driving." He smiled and motioned for her to go before him. "Ladies first, or whatever.”
"Nah, I came with a group of friends." She smiled and nodded, "I’d really like it if you drove, otherwise we’d be walking."
“Alright, cool. My car’s a little down the street, that way." He pointed at a blue mustang a few buildings down.
"I must say Ryker, I’m impressed." She nodded, and took a drag. "Hey I don’t blame you," she said, exhaling. "College was a hell of a time." She laughed and looked away, realising what she just admitted to a student. "Eh.. You could pass for like.. twelve"
“Yeah?" He grinned at her compliment. It was nice to be told he was impressive. She spoke and he laughed, unbelieving. "Really? I would buy it. You look like you can wild out." He licked his lips and continued chuckling. "Twelve? I don’t know. I usually get confused for a ten year old.”
Beer tastes the same no matter where you go. I have high standards for my goose so “Classy trashy” can suck it.
“I wouldn’t agree with that. German beer’s a lot better than American beer." He chuckled some more. "So high maintenance. I’m diggin’ it.”
"Oh, yeah, totally! The beat, the lyrics, the style — It’s all really good." The blonde grinned realizing that she was starting to sound a little lame being too into it. “Well, lets go then.”
“They get down," he agreed, looking around. "Did you drive here? Do you want me to drive?”
She stood back, in shock. “Yeah, wow that’s right. I’ve never had a student quote such a thing on the spot like that.” She giggled. “Arent you too young be here?”
“I’ve read Leviathan a few times." He grinned. "Probably. But when your dad’s an owner of a pharmaceuticals company, you can basically do anything with a few Adderall." He waited before smiling again. "Just kidding. Nah, they said as long as I stay away from the bar, I’m good.”
